  Why does my anti-virus tool report that there are viruses existing in Wopti Utilities?

  This is a wrong report. Wopti Utilities is scanned by professional antivirus software before marketing. There is absolutely no virus in it. We would like you to use professional antivirus tool to protect your system. Some non-professional antivirus (anti-trojan) software can only bring inconvenience instead of providing your PC with any protection.

  How do I know I am using the latest version of Wopti Utilities?

  Some of the items still can not be deleted after registry cleaning. Why?

  The purview of registry items has been illegally modified. Presently, the purview has not been compulsively modified for security. You can modify it manually then delete these items.

  There is a file input error when I backup registry with Wopti Utilities. Why?

  You can not backup the registry because there is something wrong with Regedit.exe of registry.

  Where is registry backup of Wopti Utilities in my PC?

  It is in Backup\Registry of Wopti Utilities installation directory.

  What is the relationship between “threshold” and “current value”?

  S.M.A.R.T data is a forecast of potential problems in hard disk, users do not need to concern its specific data but the relationship between “threshold” and “current value”. If the “current value” is lower than “threshold”, hard disk will be in fault forecast state, it still can run normally but is not suitable for storage of any valuable data. If the “lowest value” is lower than “threshold”, it means hard disk had been in problem before but already back to normal, so, users do not need to take it into consideration.

  During System Optimization, I am reminded that BIOS can be shadowed. What should I do?

  The function of BIOS Shadowed is to map BIOS of the system into the memory, which can make the system read it in the memory instead of accessing BIOS again when the system needs to read BIOS information. So this function can improve the PC performance to some degree.
  If you want to enable BIOS Shadowed, enter BIOS upon boot and select "Advanced BIOS Features" and check if option "BIOS Shadowed" is in it. If it is in it, BIOS Shadowed can be enabled by changing it from "Disabled" into "Enabled".

  Wopti Utilities disabled Format and Deltree when scanning hackers. How to restore them?

  Go to Command subdirectory under Windows directories and modify Format.wom to Farmat.com, Deltredd.wom to Deltree.exe. Take modifying extensions in Window98 as an example: Go to Windows Resource Manager, select “Folder Options” in Tools and select View Page, then deselect “Hide known file type extensions”, go to Command subdirectory, right click Format.wom and select “Rename” to change it to Format.com. It also works on Fdisk.wom files.

  Why am I still informed to defrag after conducting disk defragmentation?

  It is because some of the fragments were scanned but occupied by operating system and could not be moved.
